Lonnie Dean Autery, 72, of Alton, IL passed away Monday August 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Alton to the late Rolland Autery and Edith (Tracy) Autery on May 16, 1952.
Lonnie retired from Central Hardware after 22 years of faithful service. He loved listening to music and had an outstanding collection of records.
He is survived by his brother Gary (Linda) Autery of Brighton, his nephews and nieces James (Missi Rigsby) , Jason (Andrea) Autery , Nicholas Autery, Emily (J.P.) Thatcher, and 7 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his step-father Ray Wilson.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL. Pastor Joyce Anders will officiate. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com.
