Lola Pearl Price Kyle

JERSEYVILLE-  Lola Pearl Price Kyle, 69, died unexpectedly at 7:39 a.m., Sunday, May 5, 2013 in the emergency room at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.She was born in Louisiana, Missouri on Dec. 11, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Louis & Betty (Phillips) Harrison.A graduate of Alton Senior High School, she also obtained an Associates Degree in Business from Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey.  She was employed in the health care field caring for others for the majority of her adult life in numerous nursing homes in the area, including Blu Fountain Manor, Life Care Center, and Beverly Farms in Godfrey before retiring from Robings Manor in Brighton.Lola first married Ralph Price on Jan. 24, 1969 and the two shard ten years together before his death on May 31, 1979.  She then married Bobby Joe "Chuck" Kyle on June 29, 1983 in Dow, and the two have been blessed with nearly 30 years together.Surviving are her husband, Bobby "Chuck" Kyle of Jerseyville; a daughter, Tammy (Price) Long of Jerseyville; a son & daughter in law, Tracy & Michele Price of New Douglas; a special stepdaughter, Helen McMurtrie of Jerseyville; as well three step children from her marriage to Bob, David & Diana Kyle of Fayetteville, Ga., Sandra & Rob Hellerand of Oak Hills, Ca., and Barbara & Charles Sensiba of McLean, Va.; 14 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren; 12 Step Grandchildren and a brother, Louis "Junior" Harrison of Alton.In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Allen Harrison; a son in law, Chuck Long; and a sister, Helen Barnett.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday.Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
