Lois J. Masulla, 56, she passed away on, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Saint Anthony’s Health Center in Alton.
She was born on January 3, 1957 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Calvin & Bernice (Suvillan) Cagle.
She was formerly married to Dennis J. Masulla on December 20, 1975 in Alton. He survives.
Lois was employed at Tony’s Restaurant in Alton for 17 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. She enjoyed knitting, watching movies and spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Louise Masulla of Wasecca, MN and Valerie & Steven Pruitt of Alton; one son, Christopher Masulla of Alton; six grandchildren, Derrick Masulla, Renee Masulla, Rebecca Davis, Vera Davis, Cynthina Masulla and Steven Pruitt; one great-grandson, Demialo Jones Jr.; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Gary Cagle of East Alton, David & Dorothy Cagle of Wood River, Steven Cagle of Alton and Richard Cagle of Tempe, AZ and a good friend, Lisa Turner of Wood River.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, one brother, Michael Cagle and two sisters, Nancy Hancock and Diane Cagle.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
Mass will be held at 10 am Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton
Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
