Linda Rose Basso, 72, of Walshville, IL, died on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Callaway County, MO due to a result of a motor vehicle accident with her husband, Marion C. Basso.
She was born June 5, 1949, in Litchfield, IL to Michael R. Rekart & Emily Rose (Soltis) Rekart. She married Marion C. Basso on August 28, 1993 in Mt. Olive, IL. She had worked for the First National Bank of Staunton, IL. Linda loved baking, cooking and her bling jewelry.
She is survived by her children, Chrissy Morgan Marshall of O'Fallon, MO, Loran Morgan of San Diego, CA, grandchildren, Chelsea (Connor) Evans of Fulton, MO, Cole Newingham of Burlington, WA, great grandchildren, Adalee Newingham, Bodhi Evan, Wynsten Stieglitz, brother, Michael Rekart, sisters, Judy Law, Cindy Rekart, nieces, Nikki Cox, Brittany Law and Melissa Logsden.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debra Vath.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie, IL from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the funeral at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.
