Lena A. Chiolero, 95, passed away at 9 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at her home. Born June 20, 1915 in Benld, Ill., she was a daughter of Mario and Maria (Marchione) Guiliacci. She married John Chiolero June 25, 1932. He preceded her in death April 28, 2000. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Allyn and Yvonne Chiolero of Eureka, Mo.; a granddaughter and her husband Dawn and Bob Painter; great grandchildren, Lauren, Chase and Samantha Painter; a step grandson, Walter Polaski, his wife Peggy and their children Shannon and Shawn; and beloved nieces and nephews, Brenda Kennedy, Gary Ferguson, Greg Ferguson, Dwayne Ferguson, and Jeff Ferguson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Hilda Winkleblack; and two brothers, Sesto and James Guiliacci. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8. Rev. James Overbey will officiate.
