Len Ladwig

Len E. Ladwig, age 62, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville.  Len owned and operated Woody’s Municipal Supply in Edwardsville.  He was born June 27, 1953, at Alton, Illinois the son of the late Ellwood & Ruth (Suhre) Ladwig.  Len married Bernadette Caulk on March 5, 1976, in Edwardsville.  Besides his wife Bernie he is survived by 1 son, Nick Ladwig & wife Lori of Highland; 2 daughters, Megan Ladwig of Edwardsville and Annaleen Nehr & husband Charlie of Collinsville; 1 granddaughter, Addilyn Ladwig; and 3 sister, Gail Drown & husband David of Corpus Christi, Texas, Linda Berends  of Glen Carbon, and Amy Burchardt  & husband, David of Wildwood, Missouri.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved to go camping and working in his apple orchard.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. John Shank officiating.  Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be expressed online at weberfuneralhome.com.
