Le Fahnestock

Le Roy T Fahnestock, 82, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at St. Anthony's Hospital, Alton, IL on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 11:17 am.  He was born on February 20, 1940, in Ste. Genevieve, MO to Clifford Fahnestock & Maxine Pruitt Fahnestock.  He married Janet Hahn Fahnestock on February 24, 1961, in Saint Louis CO, MO.  He was a banker.  He was also a minister in Kimmswick, MO, and pastor for Woodburn Bible Church for 30 years.  He was a Mizzou Football Fan, St. Louis Cardinal Fan, and Softball Coach.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He especially enjoyed reading his Bible.  He is survived by his spouse, Janet Fahnestock of Bunker Hill, IL, children, Shelley (John ) Peterson of Bunker Hill, IL, Lisa  Cox of Wood River, IL, Jill (Perry) Yates of Bunker Hill, IL, Mikki  Rowe of Staunton, IL, Mike Fahnestock of Perryville, MO, Tom (Glenda) Fahnestock of Farmington, MO, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild due in January, siblings, Brenda (John) Klarich of Clearwater, FL, brothers, Roger (Jean) Fahnestock of Pekin, IL, Bradley (Jeanette) Fahnestock of St. Genevieve, MO.  Le Roy was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Tyler Yates, a great-grandson, Job Peterson, and sister, Janis Lloyd.  Friends may call on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at  Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Funeral services are Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:00 am at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Woodburn Bible Church.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
