OCCUPATION: He spent his life as a Farmer on the Family Centennial Farm. It was more than a Vocation, it was his Love. Gary loved people especially the young ones. He was known for pointing his finger and giving loving advice. He was lovingly called
“Grandpa” by many
MEMBERSHIP: Gary was active throughout his life and currently served as a director for MJM Elect Cooperative for over 20 years, the AIEC Board of Directors, Adopt a Family Farm Board of Directors, he also served on the Statewide Board of the Illinois Assoc. of Elect Cooperatives, he was a Trustee of the Fieldon First Baptist Church, Richwood Township Trustee, Richwood Township Republican Committeeman, Tri County Antique Club/Cowboy Church, Trustee for Gunterman Cemetery and he was a member of the Jersey County Farm Bureau.
