Laurie Winfree

Laurie A. Winfree, 60, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at her residence on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:32 a.m. She was born July 13, 1964, in Wood River, IL to Donald and Lucille (Davis) Eldridge. She studied at Lewis and Clark College and Sanford-Brown College. She loved her family and friends. Being outdoors and near the water were her favorite ways to relax. She enjoyed fishing and being with family. She loved the rain and a beautiful sunset. She was always the first to tell you to look at the moon. Laurie is survived by her daughter, Shasta Lievers, son in law, Eric Lievers, grandchild Kamea Alex Lievers of Florida, mother, Lucille Eldridge of Bunker Hill, brothers and sisters, Dale Eldridge of Bunker Hill, Diana Chestnut of Bunker Hill, Donna Jeanine, and Tim Hancock of Litchfield, Gary Eldridge of Bunker Hill, Steven and Josie Eldridge of Grafton, nieces and nephews, Galen Parnell, Taryne Heyen, Brandy Clark, Pasha Koprivoka, Misty Perez, Zach Chestnut, Heather Hieke, Jason Eldridge, Austyn Eddinger and Joshua Downing. Laurie was preceded in death by her father, sister, Sharon Parnell, sons, DJ and Christopher Winfree, sister, Sandy Eddinger and niece Carol Baugh. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bunker Hill Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the go fund me or to Shasta Lievers and family for the celebration of life services.
