Larry Vincent Vescoso, 53, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Born Jan. 23, 1957 in Detroit, Mich., he was a son of Harry and Vennera (Farrugia) Vescoso.
He worked as a paint technician for DuPont for several years.
On May 20, 1988, he married Julie L. Smith in Newport Richey, Fla. She survives.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Staunton Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Gabrielle and Meagan Vescoso, both of East Alton; and a sister, Rita of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or the American Diabetes Assoc.
