Larry Edward Nowaski, 80, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at his residence.
Born in Alton on July 3, 1940, he was the son of Vincent Edward and Virginia Mae (Daech) Nowaski.
He had worked as an operator for the Olin Corporation in the Brass Division for 40 years before retiring.
On June 7, 1961 in Alton he married Marjorie A. Roberts. She died April 18, 2020.
Surviving are a son, Jeff Nowaski of Brighton; daughter, Sheryl (Jim) Nixon of Brighton; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Sue Schafer of Eureka, MO.
His parents; wife; and son, Steven Nowaski preceded in death.
Fr. Donald Wolford conducted private services and burial rites at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
