Kyle Eugene Maxeiner, 31, Blue Springs, MO passed away unexpectedly Sept. 28, 2011. Visitations will be held from 4-6 pm, Sat., Oct. 1 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055 and 4-8 pm, Monday, Oct. 3 at Gent Funeral Home, 2409 State Street Alton, IL 62002. Services will be at 10 am, Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the West Alton First Church of God in West Alton, MO; interment at Ebenezer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to a trust fund being established for Kyle’s children.
Kyle was born Nov. 20, 1979 in Alton, IL and graduated from Alton High School in the Class of 1998. He then earned his B.S. in Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and was a member of the H.P.V. Team while at the university. He was an engineer for Alliant Tech Systems at the Lake City Plant. He enjoyed hunting and boating but most of all he loved his family.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents John & Lucille Flamm and uncle Lonnie Flamm. He is survived by his wife Chrissy Maxeiner; daughter Maggie Christine Maxeiner and son Brady Eugene Maxeiner, all of the home; parents Dennis & Pam Maxeiner, Brighton, IL; sister Kristi Futhey and husband Andrew, Alton, IL; grandparents Kenneth & Christina Maxeiner, Brighton, IL; nephews Gabriel & Lucas Futhey and Riley Gray; mother-in-law and father-in-law Beth & Jim Samples, Jerseyville, IL; brothers-in-law Jack Gray and wife Wendy, Reno, NV; Danny Gray and wife Beth, Jerseyville, IL; special great-aunt and great-uncle Alta Faye & Bob Tuetken, Temple Terrace, FL; and many other family member who loved him.
