Ronald Kuruc

Ronald James Kuruc, 78, of Gillespie, IL, died at his residence on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 8:14 am.  He was born November 13, 1942, in Litchfield, IL to John L. Kuruc & Agnes Kuruc.  He married Mary Elizabeth (Keith) Kuruc on December 20, 1969 in Carlinville, IL.  He was a member of the US Army Reserves.  He was retired after having been a surveyor for the State of Illinois Department of Transportation.  He is survived by his spouse, Mary Kuruc of Gillespie, IL, children, Peggy Carey of Gillespie, IL, Jackie (Pat) McKinney of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Justin McKinney, Amanda Manley, Neil McKinney, Bryce McKinney, Lindsay Koniak, Steven Carey, Michael Carey, great-grandchildren, Liam Koniak, Audrey Manley, Aiden Manley, Chandler McKinney, brothers, John Kuruc of Carbondale, IL, Ray (Norma) Kuruc of NJ and sister, Marie (Gene) Mullink of Bunker Hill, IL.  Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Patty Brown, brother, James Kuruc and son in law, Kim Carey.
