Kevin Lee Frankford, 50, passed away at 12:13 am on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his home.
He was born February 27, 1963 in Alton, IL, the son of Lee A. and Delores Tite Frankford.
He married Terresa Cummings on February 22, 1986 at Eden United Church of Christ in Edwardsville. She survives.
Kevin served in the U.S. Marine Reserves. He was a laborer for the Wood River Labor Local 338. He enjoyed his frequent travels “around the horn” with his family and friends, hunting and fishing. He was an avid collector of everything unique and was a dedicated Marine. He loved his dog, Max (Boo Boo).
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Danielle of Jerseyville and Shelby of Bethalto; a grandson, Kayden Frankford; his step mother, Leanna Rae Frankford Hill of Alton; his siblings and their spouses, Kathy and Monte Little of Granite City, Jeff and Kris Fencel of Bethalto, Nick and Heather Fencel of Alton, and Renae and Don White of Godfrey as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Fosterburg Cemetery in Alton.
