Kenneth Schallenberg, 47, passed away at 7:24 AM Saturday March 22, 2014.
He was born on November 24, 1966 in Alton, IL the son of George E. Schallenberg and Jody Sinningson.
He was the store manager at Firestone, a member of Ducks Unlimited and loved duck hunting and working on cars.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Schallenberg of St. Charles; a son, Tyler Schallenberg of St. Charles; his father, George Schallenberg and his wife, Joyce of Alton; his mother, Jody (Sinningson) Frazer of West Alton; three sisters and a brother, Brenda Sachs of West Alton, Todd Schallenberg and his wife Amy of Alton, Erika Shipp and her husband Ryan of St. Charles, MO, and Hannah Schallenberg of Godfrey; nieces and nephews, Michelle Sansevere, Danielle Sachs, Christian Schallenberg, Brayden Schallenberg and Elijah Shipp; one great nephew, Troy Sansevere; and two best friends, Mike and Tien.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday March 25, 2014 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton where a Eulogy Service will be held at 10 am Wednesday.
Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in West Alton.
Memorials may be given to: 5A’s.
