Kelsey Claire Fourdyce, age 31, of Oakland, California, formerly of Edwardsville, Illinois, died at 12:04 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2015, in San Francisco. Kelsey was Lead Purchasing Manager for Smart Home Devices at MiOS, Ltd. in Oakland, California. She was born on January 19, 1984, in Maryville, Illinois, the daughter of Dr. Anthony W. and Diane L (Savoie) Fourdyce of Edwardsville. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Dr. Lana Fourdyce Kavetsis and her husband, Steven, of Chicago, Illinois; a paternal grandfather, Wesley Fourdyce of Glen Carbon, Illinois; aunts Joanne Isadore and husband, Dr. Ernest Isadore of St. Charles, Illinois, and Dr. Cynthia Savoie of Vancouver, Washington; an uncle, William Savoie and wife, Joanne of Grant, Alabama; and seven first cousins. She was a graduate of Edwardsville High School in 2002, University of Illinois with a Bachelors in Communication in 2006, and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Neuchatel in Switzerland in 2013. She was fluent in both Spanish and French. After graduating from college, Kelsey lived in Washington D.C.; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lausanne, Switzerland; and Chicago before locating to the San Francisco area for her employment. She was committed to academic and professional excellence. Some of her many interests were non-fiction literature, photography, world travel, certified scuba diving, horsemanship, and a love of animals. Most important in Kelsey's life was her family and friends worldwide. In celebration of Kelsey's life a visitation will be held Friday, May 22nd, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home, Edwardsville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. also at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home.
