Katrina Larie Crew 44, loved mother, daughter, sister, fiancé and dear friend, who was born February 4, 1976, passed away Tuesday evening, December 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Katrina's smile could light up any room; she loved her family; loved to laugh; and enjoy the small niceties of life, including, her home in the country and her doggies. Although her presence can no longer grace us here, she will be remembered with overwhelming love, always to remain in our hearts. May her spirit shine on in heaven brighter than a soothing moonlit sky.
She was born in Ithaca, NY, the daughter of Janne' (LaFors) Crew of East Alton and the late, Charles Paul Crew.
Katrina had been a team leader at Reynolds Consumer Products for 10 years.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Alex Crew of Carrollton; daughter, Brittany Crew of Jacksonville; fiancé Justin Jilg of Carrollton; step-children, Samantha (Trenton) Balcom of Jerseyville, Jessica and Hunter Jilg of Carrollton; granddaughter, Hadley Balcom; brothers, Damion Crew of Frederick, MD, Donathon Crew of Portland, OR, Sebastian Crew of East Alton; sisters, Regina Crew of Buffalo, NY, Patricia Crew of Edwardsville, Angelina Crew of Portland, OR and Amanda Crew of East Alton.
Private services were conducted at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Richard Newcom officiated.
Burial was in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
