Kathryn Elizabeth Link, 71, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at her home.
Born Sept. 13, 1950, in Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of Antrim H. and Margaret E. (Smith) Jones.
Kathy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving her country from 1973-1977. She was an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rosewood Heights, singing in the choir and serving in the Women of Worship group. She was an excellent artist and painted many works. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, had several cats and dogs over the years, and loved being around people and laughing.
She married Michael R. Link, I on July 31, 1976, in Ronkonkoma, NY, and they shared almost 46 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is loved and will be missed by a granddaughter, Tabatha Barclay; two sisters, Rebecca (Terry) Simmer of Lady Lake, FL and Ellen Crossman of Clinton Township, MI; and a brother, Tim (Diana) Jones of Tempe, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepson, Michael R. Link, II; and two daughters, Debra Link and an infant daughter.
The family will hold memorial services at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.
