Kathleen Glenn

Kathleen Elizabeth Glenn made her entry to the earth on November 26, 1971, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was the baby girl of Mary Elizabeth Cunningham Glenn and John Glenn, Sr.  Kathleen was a lifelong native of East Saint Louis, Illinois. Kathleen, affectionately known as "Kathy," graduated from East Side Senior High and went on to receive an Associates's degree in Early Childhood  Education from East Saint Louis Community College. She was devoted to making kids feel loved.  She enjoyed making baskets and crafts for daycare kids and her grandchildren for every holiday.  In fact,  she briefly had her own home daycare. She was a longtime member of  Mt. Joy  M. B. Church, Edwardsville, Illinois under the leadership of Pastor Steve Jackson.  She was also a  member of Zeta Phi Beta  Sorority, Inc. Kathleen gained her heavenly wings unexpectedly and quickly on November 23, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son; Andrew Glenn (Marissa) of  Maryland; grandchildren, Tobias and Titan;  sister  Charlene Blair of  Illinois; brother, John Glenn, Jr (Susie)  of  Missouri;  nephew,  Robert  L.  Hardy  III;  great-nephew, Shawn Hardy; niece, Morgan  Glenn; uncle, John  E. Cunningham  (Carmen);  aunts,  Judy  Harris and Alice  Perry;  special partner, Darron  Chairs;  special friends, Phyllis/Mona  Ervin, Lorine Purham and Crystal Clark and a host of cousins and relatives from the Cunningham and Glenn families as well as many others that will remember her fondly. Visitation Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Services will be held at Cathy M.
