Kathie Henderson

With heavy hearts, we announce that Kathie Henderson passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 29, 2020 at the age of 64. Married for 45 years to her devoted husband, Dale, she was also a loving mother to Nathan and Amanda Henderson, Carrie Henderson, Annie and Joe Kessler, Jenny Henderson and grandmother to Dane and Delaney Henderson and Mercedes and Maddie Kessler.  Also surviving are her siblings, Sherry Rexford, Tom Woelful (Carol), and Laurie Horn (Matt).  Kathie lived a life of love, generosity and faith. She cherished her work as a physical therapy assistant and was a proud life-long parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Theona (Narup) Woelful.  Family and close friends of Kathie will gather for a private (invitation only) visitation and funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.  We will welcome the community to a burial and celebration of a beautiful life lived in the spring on April 8th ' Kathie's birthday.
