Katharine M. Wiskow, 92, of Alton, Illinois, New Port Richey, Florida, and The Bronx, New York, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, with family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1931, to Herbert and Margaret (Janssen) Grosche in New York, NY. She married John Jaffry on April 26, 1953. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two of her three sons; John-Herbert (Janet) Jaffry of Alton, Mark (Karen) Jaffry of Virginia, six grandchildren; Timothy Edward (Stephanie) Jaffry, Bradley Stephen (Rachel) Jaffry, Gregory Peter (Michelle) Jaffry, Scott Michael (Danielle) Jaffry, Erik John (Jessica) Jaffry, Justin William Jaffry, nine great-grandchildren; Liam Ryan Jaffry, Ryan Patrick Jaffry, Maya Lauren Jaffry, Camille Grace Jaffry, Jaxon John Jaffry, Layla Paige Jaffry, Cooper John Jaffry, Otto Frank Jaffry, August Lee Jaffry, and one special nephew; Jonathan (Lillian) Hill. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Stephen Jaffry, one brother; Herbert Grosche, and one sister; Eleanor Hill. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
