June R. Justice, 95, died at3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Blu-Fountain Manor in Godfrey. Born April 26, 1918 in Equality, IL, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Sanks) Riley. Mrs. Justice was a member of the Elm Street Presbyterian Church in Alton. She was a volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital and had worked at several stores in the Alton area including Sears, Young’s, Vogue, the Children’s Shop and Snyder’s. She also worked at the Alton Post Office during the month of December for several years. On December 21, 1941 she married Howard Wilson Justice in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1996. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Richard “Rick” Klein of Florissant, MO, Jack Justice of Godfrey, two grandchildren, Tamah Collier (John) of Guam, and Aurora Rezeau (Nathan) of Redding, CA and four great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Philbert and Glen Justice. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Rick Klein will officiate. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Memorials may be made to Elm Street Presbyterian Church. Online guestbook and information may be found at
