Julie Bock Henry, 42, died at 7:28 a.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1968 in Alton the daughter of James Sanford and Diane (Palen) Bock Sr. She has worked at the Olin Corporation for the last eight years. Julie was a very fun and energetic person. She loved to be around family and would help anyone out in times of need. She enjoyed tanning, swimming and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She always had a smile on her face and loved to joke around. She was a mother a friend and an all around great person.
Besides her parents she is survived by one daughter: Tiffany Coughlin and her fiancé Quentin Mosby of Alton, two sons: Cody Coughlin of Godfrey and Aaron Henry of Godfrey, three grandchildren: Quentin Mosby II, Javion Mosby and Ryan Norman, four brothers: James Bock Jr. and his wife Sharon Kay of Alton, Timothy Bock and his fiancé Danette Smith of Godfrey, Tom Bock and his wife Natalie of Godfrey and 1st Sgt. John Bock, ret. and his wife Stephanie of san Antonio, TX. Two sisters: Diana Whitaker and her husband Dale of Godfrey and Debbie Cox and her husband Gary of Alton, her Grandmother: Myrtle Bock of Godfrey and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and lots of good friends. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Amya Mosby, and grandparents: Ron Bock, Hilbert Bock and Ed and Eileen Palen.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Reverend Roy Rhoades to officiate.
Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
