Judy Carol Beasley, 71, passed away 8:26 am, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Alton on March 1, 1947, she was the daughter of Wilbur Lowell Beasley and Jewell Marie (Rea) Beasley.
Judy had been a registered nurse at Alton Memorial Hospital and had been a staff nurse with Alton Multispecialists before retiring. In addition, she spend 8 years as a missions nurse in Nicaragua and Guatemala.
Surviving are three sisters, J. Louise Beasley and Susie Arlene Beasley of Bethalto, E. Darlene (Darrel) Bumstead of Independence, IA; and a brother, Gary L. Beasley of Surfside Beach, SC.
Her parents and a sister, Jeanette Renee Beasley preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 4:30-6 pm , Sunday, September 9 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River where services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday. Pastors Royce Roy and James Snow will officiate.
Burial will follow in Upper Alton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Bethel Pentecostal Mission department or Susan G. Koman Research Fund.
