Judith “Judy” Ann Linkeman, age 76, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at her home. Judy was born on March 22, 1948, in Granite City, IL, a daughter of the late Wayne and Leona (Hellmich) Clark.
On July 31, 1977, Judy married Dennis Linkeman, the love of her life in Granite City, IL. Judy and Dennis were former owners of Jethro’s Quick Shop in Granite City, IL, for many years, and they currently own and operate Jethro’s Mini Storage and Sales.
Judy enjoyed boating, puzzles and reading the bible. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. Judy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and dear friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Baker, and by a brother, Bob Clark.
Judy is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Dennis Linkeman of Granite City, IL; loving children, Jeff Ashcraft of Caseyville, and Melissa Dawn (Tim) Lloyd of Holly Spring, MS; dear siblings, Jim Clark and Caroline (John) Ashcraft; proud grandmother to Nathan, Jordan, Lexi, Charlie, Parker, Brittany, Tyler and Cody; proud great-grandmother to Bentlee, Carsyn, Grayson, Jenna-Lee, Jack, Atlas, Brantley, Carson and Denver; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Judy’s wishes were to be cremated and to have no formal services.
