Judith "Judy" M. Emmons, 81, of Benld, IL, died at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 8:25 am. She was born December 16, 1942, in Benld, IL to Pete Alepra & Magdeline Pianfetti Alepra. She married Norman B. Emmons on January 17, 1964 in Benld, IL. She was a retired legal secretary after having worked for the Macoupin County State's Attorney's Office. Judith enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and her dog, Juni. She is survived by her spouse, Norm Emmons of Benld, IL, children, Jill (Kevin) Stephenson of Edwardsville, IL, Lori Emmons of Benld, IL, Amy (Mike) Reiniesch of Benld, IL, Megan (Scott) Nims of Bourbonnais, IL, Tina (Ed) Whitfield of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, Ed (JoAnn) Alepra of Kewanee, IL and Ken (Sherry) Alepra of Gillespie, IL. Judith was preceded in death by her parents.
