Juanita "Kay" Ivester, 81, of Alton, Illinois, passed away at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at La Bella of Alton.
Born on June 27, 1943, in Alton, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Porter) McDonald. Juanita married Glen Ivester in Alton on February 22, 1967. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Tanna Patton of Alton; her son, Craig Ivester of Alton; her caretaker, Julie Bullard of Alton; and several grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, son Brian Ivester, daughter Terri Byrd, brother Jim Porter, and sisters Norma Hanks and Joyce Hausman.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Homes and Crematory.
