Juanita E. Haworth, age 84, passed away at 2:20 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton with her family by her side.
She was born on December 3, 1929 in Wood River, IL, to the late Alfred and Katherine (Miller) O’Neal.
Juanita married Marvin Haworth on September 9, 1950 in East Alton. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2011.
Juanita was employed at the Stratford Hotel in Alton as a desk clerk. .
Juanita is survived by a daughter; Susan Coatney of Alton and her fiancé Gary; two sons and there spouses, Richard & Darla Haworth of Godfrey and Jonn and Marge Haworth of Wood River; several grand children and great grandchildren, one sister; Eileen Mackel of Alton, and a brother-in-law and his spouse; Norman and Bennie Haworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Hilda Borchers and three brother-in-laws and a sister-in-law; Gene Borchers, Bill Mackel and Bud and Ruth Haworth.
Per her wishes cremation rites where accorded.
Memorials may be made to 5 A’s.
