Josephine M. Kalaskie, 91, of Benld, IL, died at her residence on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 8:22 pm. She was born October 26, 1933, in Staunton, IL to Louis and Christine (Anton) Fones.
She married Marvin L. Kalaskie. He preceded her in death on August 20, 1992. Josephine loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Linda (Jerry) Case of Gillespie, IL, Danny (companion, Vanessa) Vesper of Staunton, IL, Tina (Mitchell) Robbins of Hillsboro, IL, grandchildren, Stacie Souza, Sarah Schweppe, Ashley Vesper Westerhold, Abby Vesper, Ivyanna Robbins, great-grandchildren, Owen Schweppe, Kendall Schweppe, Nolan Souza, Griffin Souza, D.J. Brown, Dannika Evans, Joey Evans, Rian Schoeneweis. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brothers, Raymond Fones, Wilbert "Bud" Fones, sisters, Evelyn Swain, Dolores Tester, Viola Carter.
