Joseph S. Walsh, Jr., age 29 of Collinsville, Il, born September 30, 1992 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Joe was a Collinsville High School graduate. He worked as a thermal spray technician for HTS Coatings in Madison, IL. He loved painting and enjoyed working on cars. He was very talented and could do anything he set his mind to.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marsha Markle.
Surviving is his daughter, Raelynn Walsh; parents, Joseph Sr. and Lora (nee Smith) Walsh of Collinsville, IL; maternal grandmother, Sharon Smith of Collinsville, IL; paternal grandparents, Frank (Yvonne) Walsh of Collinsville, IL and Brian Markle of Collinsville, IL; brother, Vincent (Lauren) Walsh of Maryville, IL; two sisters: Kerston (Cameron Corvallis) Walsh of Collinsville, IL and Katelyn (Tim) Brimer of Caseyville, IL; 10 nieces and nephews: Marleigh, Makenzie, Madalyn, Laynie and Brody Walsh, Hannah, Leigha, and Kyelah Chambliss, Tim Jr., and Avery Brimer; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be 9 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.
The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Due to current state restrictions, masks are required to be worn. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
