Joseph John Zimmerman, 56, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 5:25 pm.
He was born May 9, 1965, in Granite City, IL to Joseph Frank Zimmerman & Irene Byrd Zimmerman. He was a factory laborer. Joseph was a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Zimmerman of Gillespie, IL, siblings, Earl Zimmerman of Meadowbrook, IL, Thomas Zimmerman of Gillespie, IL, Tammy Dunn of Glen Carbon, IL, and Janell Zimmerman of Gillespie, IL.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father and brother, Neal Zimmerman.
