Joseph "Joe" Nicoloff, age 66, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at his residence.
He was born September 3, 1955, in Wood River, Illinois, the son of the late John & Mary (Ritter) Nicoloff, who owned and operated John's Donut Shop in Wood River for many years. Joe owned and operated Nicoloff Detailing, which is a CAD Steel Detailing company, and he was on the advisory board of SDS2 Steel Detailing.
He married Patricia French on September 6, 1975, she preceded him in death on November 27, 2019.
Joe is survived by two sons, Scott Nicoloff of Glen Carbon, Adam Nicoloff & wife Katie of Edwardsville; daughter Jamie Palmer & husband Nathan of Edwardsville; five grandchildren, August, Elliot, & Tucker Nicoloff; Charlotte & William Palmer; and one brother, Sam Nicoloff of Wood River.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edwardsville. Joe loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially on their family trips to Disney World. He was also very passionate about his work and his church.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Reverend Robert J. Jallas officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Edwardsville.
