John Paul Heuer, 73, of Granite City, IL, died at 4:08 p.m. Sun. June 8, 2025 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.
He was born Aug. 24, 1951 in St. Louis, MO to the late John Paul and Grace Florence (Bertchmann) Heuer.
John married Paula Kathleen Miller in the Summer of ‘69. She preceded him in death June 20, 2006.
John worked in skilled labor and as a forklift operator. He loved to cook and watch the St. Louis Cardinals.
Survivors include a daughter, Paulette Heuer of Granite City, a son, Robert Heuer of Festus, MO, 9 grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Michael, Heather, Dustin, Olivia, Madison, Emily, and Megan, her beloved grandpuppy, Kimber, 7 great-grandchildren, Oliver, Grayson, Remy, Rylee, Willow, Peyton, and Liam, 3 brothers, Pat, Danny, and Michael Heuer of St. Louis and, 6 sisters, Maureen LaPlant , Debbie Jacobs, Diane Busken, and Sandy Pfitzner of St. Louis, Karen Heuer of Kansas City, MO, and Grace Evans of Alton, IL
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, John Heuer, and Patrick Heuer, and a brother, Tim Heuer.
