John F. Lane, 63, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Crestwood Health Care in Florissant, MO.
Born January 23, 1947 in Hardin, IL, he was the son of Oren Andrew Roland and Bertha Ellen (Dennis) Lane. He served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are four brothers and sisters, Betty Clutts and husband Charles of Jefferson City, MO, Mary Sauls of Brighton, Denny Bringer of St. Louis, MO and Pamela Hoffman and husband Dennis of Houston, TX and 10 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Reverend Carl J. Cook will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
