John Pickett

John Edward Pickett, 70, of Gillespie, IL, died at Carlinville Area Hospital, Carlinville, IL on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 4:38 am.  He was born May 31, 1952, in Litchfield, IL to William Pickett & Isabelle Murray Pickett.  He was a retired auto salesman.  He is survived by his children, Jaimi (Jay) Reid of Gillespie, IL, Jennifer Pickett of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Aiyanna Taylor, Davian Taylor, Paxton Reid, Jiles Lyons, Jr., Atlen Lyons, Haze Berisa, siblings, Jim (Carolyn) Pickett of Gillespie, IL, Dan Pickett of St. Louis, MO, David (Pam) Pickett of Gillespie, IL and former wife, Linda Pickett of Gillespie, IL.  John was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marianne Altevogt.  Friends may call on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Funeral services are Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie.  Memorials are suggested to wishes of the family.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
