John David Michael Kraus, 55, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 1:35 pm.
He was born October 7, 1965, in Dayton, OH to David Michael Kraus & Jean (Upschulte) Kraus. He married Heather L.(Hutson) Kraus on August 2, 1997, in Bunker Hill, IL. John was a veteran of the US Air Force after having served for 10 years. He was a technology delivery manager for Wells Fargo.
He is survived by his father, David Michael Kraus, spouse, Heather Kraus, children, Hannah, Abigail, Caleb, Elijah, Josiah, Lydia, siblings, Patricia (David) Eberhardt, Kathryn (Steve) Barry, and Nancy (Larry) Prehn. John was preceded in death by his mother.
A public celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Fosterburg Baptist Church from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. There will be a memorial celebration at 6:00 pm with Pastor David Craig officiating.
