She was born April 17, 1939, in Evergreen Park, IL to Joseph Ruhl & Ann (Makuh) Ruhl. She was a dental assistant. Joanne enjoyed being with family and friends, gardening, and resale shopping.
Her family includes her sons, Joseph Zieler, Robert Zieler (Jennifer Davis), Steven (Janene) Zieler, grandchildren, Zachary Zieler, Joseph Zieler Jr, Alyssa Gwynne, Zaira Davis, Tessa Davis, Stephanie (Robert) Dehaan, Nicholas (Jessica) Zieler, Abby (Anthony) Hernandez, Kara (William) Morgan, Steven Zieler, Mitchell Zieler, great-grandchildren, Dominic Cuevas, Mackenzie Rexford, Presley, River & Miloh Dehaan, Nicholas & Isla Zieler, Wyatt & Aria Hernandez, Cameron & Ava Morgan, siblings, Kathy Coco, Joyce Koch, Eileen Michalski, Jerry Ruhl, and Melvin Ruhl.
