Jessica Renee Scarbrough, age 21, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Pontoon Beach, IL.
Jessica was born on April 19, 2000, in Granite City, IL, a daughter of Christine (Kuehl) Scarbrough of Granite City, IL, and the late Heath E. Scarbrough.
Jessica had an outgoing personality and made friends easily. She loved her job at Wendy’s in Edwardsville, IL and she was recently promoted to manager. Jessica always wanted to be a teacher and she had been attending S.W.I. C. in Granite City, where she was working toward her degree to become a teacher. She enjoyed spoiling and singing to her nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Jessica loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. Jessica will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving mother, Jessica is survived by her dear siblings, Stephen Scarbrough, Nikkie Scarbrough, and Rebeka Scarbrough all of Granite City, IL; proud aunt to Heath, Videll, Luxanna, and Finis; aunts, uncle, cousins, extended family, and many wonderful friends.
In celebration of her life, a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
