Jessica Chevalley

Jessica Louise Chevalley, 30, died unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at her residence.She was born in Alton on Jan. 8, 1981, the youngest of two daughters born to Lawrence & Evelyn (Kraushaar) Chevalley.Jessica attended Jersey Community High School and graduated with the Class of 1999, where she obtained academic honors.She worked for a short time at Dawn's In Town Grooming in Jerseyville, but for the most part, she enjoyed staying at home listening to music on her Ipod, reading , or being on her computer.Jessica was very loved and was a wonderful daughter, sister and was a very proud and doting aunt to her three nieces.  She enjoyed her life, as her entire life was spent surrounded by those that loved her most and loved her dearly.Surviving are her parents, Larry & Evelyn Chevalley of Otterville; a sister and brother in law, Michelle & Mark Heitzman Jr. of Otterville; three nieces, Brittany, Autumn, and Stephanie Heitzman; her grandparents, Clifford & Marilyn Kraushaar of Otterville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert & Imogene Chevalley.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday.  Nathan Lueker will officiate.Burial will be in the Noble Cemetery in Otterville.Memorials may be given to the family in care of Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville
