Jeffrey Lee Allen, 72, passed away at 1:20 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 2021, at OSF St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton.
Jeffrey was born October 8, 1948, in Portsmouth, OH and moved to Melbourne, Fl as a young child where he spent the majority of his life. He recently relocated to the Riverbend area to be with his family here. He was the son of the late Albert W. Allen and Verla Jeanette (Johnson) Dudley.
Survivors include a daughter, April Jeanette Meyer and her Husband James of Wood River; one son Jeffrey John Allen of Alton; 2 grandchildren plus, Marissa and Gage Meyer of Wood River; two sisters, Vicki Kempfer of Melbourne, FL, Betsy Huffman of Melbourne, FL; as well as nieces and nephews and his children's Mother, Cyndy Roper of Alton.
Besides his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Allen.
Services will be private. Gray Funeral Home in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
