Jeannette Baldwin Rhoades, 100, passed away at 10:08am, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Eunice Smith Home.
She was born in Delavan, IL on November 2, 1912 the daughter of the late William and Minnie (Robb) Baldwin.
She married William A. Rhoades in Delavan, IL on October 16, 1935. He preceded her in death.
She was a 5th grade teacher for Pekin Public Schools for over 25 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Herb) Chung of San Francisco, Wita (Robert) Halsey of Alton, IL; two grandchildren, Sean (Deirdre) Halsey, Jenna Halsey (Ryan Bach) of Chicago; and one great grandchild, Van Rankin Halsey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and one brother, William Baldwin.
Cremation rites will be accorded with burial in Delavan, IL.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
