Jeanette Ann Carlson, 70, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis County, Mo.


She was born in English Township, Jersey County, IL. on March 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Robert Loren & Pauline (Smith) Montgomery.


She was raised in Jersey County and graduated from Jersey Community High School.For the vast majority of her life, Jeanette and her husband, Gary Carlson resided out west, mainy in New Mexico and Colorado, and after his death relocated to Jerseyville to be near her family.


Surviving are a sister, Joyce Lunceford of Bethalto; three brothers, Duane Montgomery & Dean Montgomery both of Fieldon, and Robert Montgomery of Bunker Hill; along with many loving nieces & nephews.


She was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Lancaster; and an infant brother, Kevin Montgomery.


It was Jeanettes wish that no local services be conducted at burial will take place alongside her husband at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.


Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of the arrangements.
