Jean Vivian Fisher, 93, of Brighton, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at her home.
She was born on August 22, 1931, in Alton, the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Plopper.
Jean married Wesley L. Fisher Sr. on January 28, 1950, in Alton. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2000.
She retired from Brighton Pharmacy as a sales clerk. Jean enjoyed camping trips, fishing, and family get togethers.
Jean is survived by three children, Lee Fisher of Alton, Debbie (Earl) Fredenberg of Godfrey, and Lori Montague of Brighton; six grandchildren Karri (John) Heathcott, Josh Fisher, Chelsea (J.D.) Dunham, Ivy (Rudy) Cecchini, Holly (Josh) Campbell, and Miles Montague; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister Eileen Hook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Josephine; Husband Wesley Sr.; son in law Dennis Montague; two brothers; three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery.
