Janet S. Casper, 75, died at 1:58 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her home in Alton. Born May 24, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of George Washington and Marion Heiney. Mrs. Casper retired as a dental assistant for Dr. Knoach Dental Office.
She married James Casper in Alton. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2020.
Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer (Alan) Cope of Alton, a son, Jon D. Casper of Texas, three grandchildren, Erica M. Cope and her fiancé Jeffery Scoggins, Nick (Jamie) Casper, and Jake Casper, and two great grandchildren, Brooklynn M. Cope-Scoggins, and Jameson M. Casper.
There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the 5A's Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
