James Leslie Worley, 84, of Pocahontas, IL passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at Granite City Nursing and Rehab in Granite City, IL
He was born to the late Gorman (IG) and Elizabeth (Ward) Worley on December 7, 1938, in Poplar Bluff, MO. James married Laura Christopher on March 19, 1997, in Madison County, IL. In his free time, James loved to camp.
James Is survived by his wife, Laura Worley; 2 grandchildren: Zachary Payne and Jamie Payne; a nephew; Mickey Worley; and a sister-in-law Paula (Gary) Grzywacz.
Besides his parents, James is preceded in death by 3 brothers: George Worley, Don Worley, and Myron Worley; 2 sisters: Barbara Jean, and Getta Sue Dodd and a sister-in-law: Pricilla O’Bryan.
