James Patrick Barbre, 51, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2021 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born May 5, 1969 in Aurora, IL, he was a son of Beverly (Garner) Barbre of Bethalto and the late John Barbre.
An animal lover, Patrick collected movies and enjoyed playing video games. He had previously worked in the stock room at Wal-Mart.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Michael (Tammy) Barbre of Wellington, CO; a nephew Joshua and niece Abby, both of Wellington; and his aunts, Linda Henson and Joy Dean, both of Bethalto and Debbie Narnces of Utah.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Ada and Leland Garner; his cousin Stephen Henson; and his uncles Al Henson and Tom Dean.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
