Jacqueline D. "Jackie" Kilgo, 88, died at 8:28 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Blu-Fountain Manor in Godfrey. Born October 2, 1921 in Alton, she was the daughter of Dixon B. and Selma M. (Felts) Hyndman. On November 3, 1945 in Alton, she married J. Edward Kilgo. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1979.

She was a Pink Lady at St. Anthony’s Hospital and was a loving Nana to her grandchildren. Surviving is a daughter, Karen Perotka and husband Rodger of Godfrey, a son, Patrick Kilgo of Alton, four grandchildren, Megan Moore and husband Darrin of Godfrey, Molly Velikis and husband Joe of Jerseyville, Michael Kilgo and wife Mayling of Las Vegas, NV and Melonie Munoz of Las Vegas, NV, eight great grandchildren, a nephew, Robert Kilgo and his wife Dee and a special cousin, Pat Vine and her companion Betsy Simms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant granddaughter, Katherine Perotka. A memorial mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey. In great thanks and appreciation for the loving care Jacqueline received, the family would like memorials made to Blu-Fountain Manor.
