Isabelle H. Kelly

Isabelle H. Kelly, 89, passed away at 1:20 am on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her home with her husband by her side. 

She was born on January 2, 1924 to Frank and Helena (Schmidt) Langwisch in Edwardsville, IL.   

Isabelle celebrated seventy years of marriage to her husband Paul on July 28, 2012.  He survives.   

She retired from Olin Winchester after working 30 years in the Metallic Packing Department.  She loved dancing, especially square dancing and traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto where she was a involved in St. Ann Altar Society and the Daughters of Isabella. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Charles Hunt of Bethalto; a daughter-in-law, Vickie Kelly of Bethalto; one sister, Hazel Renz of Carlinville; two grandchildren, Charles Hunt III and Paula Webster of Bethalto; four great grandsons, Colton Hunt, Corey Hunt, Connor Hunt and Cole Wilson and many nieces and nephews.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Dennis Paul Kelly, three brothers, Alvin Langwisch, Frank Langwisch and Wilbur Langwisch and three sisters, Eleanor Ashauer, Helen Dickman and Augusta Lienemann. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. 

A funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto with Father Tom Liebler officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
