Iona Jean Hartline, 83, of Piasa, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025.
She was born on May 26, 1942, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Delmer and Elaine (Gow) Cochran.
Iona married Clarence Hartline. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She retired from Aon Risk Services when she was 62, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Iona is survived by two children Traci (Bryan) Garrett of Piasa and Robyn Whitford; five grandchildren Dalton Whitford, Gracie Garrett, Shane Whitford, Peyton Garrett, and Savannah Whitford; sister Rita Young; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in law.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton with no services scheduled.
A private burial will take place next to her beloved husband at Wanda Cemetery.
