Helena Renee Harris, 50, died at 2:48 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025 at her residence.
She was born July 14, 1975 in Alton, the daughter of Richard Dean and Della Mae (Sanders) Smith. Helena worked as a registered nurse with the Illinois State Hospital for many years.
She was married to Scott Andrew Harris, Sr. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by one daughter, Kyleigh Nikole Fisher of Granite City, two sons, Korby Nikolas Kennedy and Scott Andrew Harris, Jr. and five grandchildren, Briella, Marley, Lani, Korbi and Aurora.
A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to Magnolia Wilds in Ethel, LA.
